Culture, 2008

The Culture series isolates a plant group photographed in a forest at night, to associate it with that of an empty auditorium, and plunged into darkness.

From dark rooms to the forest at night, the enveloping and deaf black suggests the phantasmagorical universe of childish fears... Faced with the spectacle of this still life, the absent spectators contribute to form a space in which the viewer can project himself.

Series realized in 2008 during a residency at the Centre Photographique d'Ile-de-France (CPIF, France).
